This was part of a self-portrait exercise in 2nd Year where we had to do one literal self portrait and one that was more metaphorical/vibes based. I can't remember why I went with this, I feel like I just wanted to try out a nature scene.
This was another assignment from around the same time. I think the focus here was secondary colours.
This piece and the next few were done around the beginning of lockdown. I'd messed around a little with digital art before but I'd never really given it a proper shot, so since I had time on my hands (and since Photoshop was free for the first couple months before the greedmongers at Adobe started charging people for it despite the global pandemic situation still being the same) I decided to draw up artwork for all my Spotify playlists. I used to just have one huge playlist that I threw all the songs I liked most into but around this time I started to get nostalgic and split it up into different eras, with each one getting a nice poetic/pretentious title and cover art. This one represents the second half of 2019, from the start of college up to the end of the year.
